She introduces us to TLC’s latest larger than life family, the Plaths’; stars of “Welcome to Plathville.” Join us as Melissa takes us with her to explore life on the Plath farm in Cairo, Georgia. No shoes? No problem. Nobody seems to wear any on this show and it bothers Melissa almost as much as the actual crimes committed by family matriarch, Kim Plath.

Martha Stewart going to jail is one of those true stories that is stranger than fiction. Rebekah is excited for Melissa to get to know the many sides of Martha, and explain how this mogul ended up one of the most famous white collar criminals. Don’t worry, because that is the LEAST crazy part of today’s episode.

Rebekah is not so reluctantly delving into the TLC waters today. When Melissa mentioned a possible cult connection for one of the couples on the current season of Seeking Sister Wife, it became clear Rebekah would need to dive in and report back. Even she was shocked by what she uncovered about a cult called The Alamo Christian Foundation. Justin and Becky Ryan seem like a pretty average couple, at least on the TLC spectrum of rankings. But once Rebekah reveals just how central the Alamo Christian Foundation was in their upbringing, it becomes impossible to view their creepy behavior the same way.
