Melissa leads this week’s episode with a trip to one of her favorite places — TLC! She introduces us to TLC’s latest larger than life family, the Plaths’; stars of “Welcome to Plathville.” Join us as Melissa takes us with her to explore life on the Plath farm in Cairo, Georgia. No shoes? No problem. Nobody seems to wear any on this show and it bothers Melissa almost as much as the actual crimes committed by family matriarch, Kim Plath. Can we really blame Kim for her problematic parenting when all she really wants to do is listen to Meatloaf in her car in peace?! If her blood alcohol level is above the legal limit, then the answer is yes. This family has the veneer of the Von Trapps, but the behavior of the Browns —  who could ask for anything more?
